Personal data that we process

Oilistic processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you provide us with these data yourself. Below is an overview of the personal details that we process:

  • Name and surname
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Address details
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Oilistic does not process any special and/or sensitive personal data of its customers.

In the massage practice

Before you receive a massage, we may ask you questions regarding your medical condition, for which we have a professional confidentiality. At the intake we will ask questions about e.g. recent injuries/ surgeries or medication use. However, we do not record this information. We only use special data to the extent permitted by law or with your consent. You are not required to share these data with us. Please note that in some cases you may not be able to use our service, or may use it less effectively.

For what purpose and on the basis of which basis do we process personal data?

Oilistic processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Handling your payment
  • Sending our newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To deliver goods and services to you.
  • Oilistic also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return.
  • To be able to call you or send you an e-mail if this is necessary for us to be able to carry out our services.

Automated decision-making

Oilistic does not make decisions based on automated processing that could have consequences for people. These are decisions made by computer programmes or systems, without the involvement of a person (for example, an Oilistic employee). 

How long we keep personal data

Oilistic does not retain your personal details any longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which they are collected. We use the following retention period for the following personal details:- General personal details: these details are archived because of legal obligations and kept for a period of 7 years. E-mail addresses are kept for sending newsletters.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Oilistic will never sell personal details or provide them to third parties for commercial purposes. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your details (Oilistic uses the newsletter generator Mailchimp) on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your details.

Cookies, or similar technologies, that we use

Oilistic does not use cookies or similar techniques. Viewing, amending or deleting data You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal details.

How we secure personal data

Oilistic takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes.
